Immediate Release
Kenneth A. Behr has announced his resignation as
president of ECFA.
“We are
thankful for the contributions Ken has made to ECFA during
his tenure,” said Michael Batts, chairman of the board of
directors. “He has stretched us to more fully utilize
technology in providing membership and educational services,
and he has generated a number of ideas about the growth of
our membership base.”
“Ken has
also helped raise ECFA’s profile in the public sector,”
added John Brown, a member of ECFA’s board and past
chairman. “He has spread the message of ECFA and financial
integrity in many venues throughout the country. We wish
Ken all the best as he pursues God’s next calling on his
life.”
Dan Busby,
senior vice president of ECFA, has been named by the board
of directors as acting president while the board engages in
a search process for ECFA’s new president.
“ECFA is a
unique organization and we will be seeking a unique
individual to serve as its president,” said Batts. “We know
God has a specific person in mind, and it is our job in the
days ahead to prayerfully and carefully seek out that
person. ECFA’s board of directors remains steadfast in its
commitment to promote financial integrity in America’s
Christian ministries.” |
